The place felt like good value for our money, and we’d go back if we can. We had a positive stay overall, though there were a few personal annoyances. The location was a big plus: most things in the center were about 10-15 minutes away, and being close to the bus station was handy. We also ran into the very friendly cleaning lady as we left. I’ve got a list of nearby places on my profile with the 🐸 emoji. The bed was spacious, warm, clean, and well made, with a wardrobe for our essentials. Some patches of the floor were warm from the heating, I assume, and it was lovely to walk barefoot there. The thermal sheets kept us warm at night. I’d have liked more heating because I was cold, though my partner was comfortable. There wasn’t any soap, which I really needed. My partner used hand soap and didn’t mind. The toaster was great, even if I burned my bread. My boyfriend made a huge breakfast, and I didn’t know that a higher setting makes it less likely to burn. I only found the QR code on the fridge explaining how the appliances work after my bread had already burned, lol. We kept bumping our heads on the sofa corners, and it was very noisy for some reason. The shower leaked and wet the whole floor, but turning on the main bathroom light made the water drain away in about ten minutes. I wish the door had a code because my iPhone battery dies quickly. Luckily my boyfriend’s doesn’t, but we were always using our phones as a guide and barely got the door open, hahaha. A divider between the living room and bedroom would also have helped block light and sound. We slept fine, though, so that’s a small personal thing.

The kitchen was very well equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine, capsule coffee machine, toaster, juicer, induction hob, a large fridge with freezer, and utensils. Most of the rest of the apartment was frustrating. When we arrived, the heating was off on a very cold day in Salamanca. They didn’t fix it until 11 PM, after several calls. They told me they control it remotely and only turn it on from 6 PM to midnight, but the booking never said we’d have to be cold in the morning. The toaster didn’t work when we tried to make breakfast. After two calls, they brought another one the next day. There were spiders in the room, and the sofa had stains that made it disgusting to sit on. The digital key stopped working for a day, so I had to call again; they gave me a code and I could get into the apartment. Our final night was sleepless because of a party next door and nonexistent soundproofing. Light came through the window, along with the glare of the green emergency light, and the blind wasn’t enough. A shutter or sliding bedroom door would help block the light and street noise. The TV was difficult to use, barely visible, and its signal kept cutting out. There were no instructions, and it wasn’t intuitive. We’d asked in the special requests for two single beds because my son and I were traveling together, but they ignored us and we had to share a double. There was no mop, only a brush and dustpan. Water flooded the bathroom floor from the half-screen shower, and we had nothing to mop it up with. It splashed everywhere, and the laminate flooring is starting to come loose.

We got around easily and saw everything in four days, thanks to the location. For €120, it was really good, and I had a lovely time with my partner, which was the main thing. Thanks, and I hope this helps! 😝🤙🏼 We stayed in room 1 for four days, three nights, and didn’t run into the problems some other reviews mentioned. The walls seemed fine, though you can hear passing cars, which is normal. We didn’t hear our neighbors, or at least I hope they didn’t hear us, lol. The kitchen, fridge, and dishwasher all worked perfectly. The bathroom was fine for a studio, though there was no soap, apparently because it had sold out. The living room has just one light, and the plug is a little faulty, but it works with a bit of effort. The bed was comfortable enough, nothing special, and we slept fine. The big TV was good too, though sometimes a line appeared and the picture seemed to change frame rate in different areas. Exiting and reopening the YouTube video fixed it. Wi-Fi worked well, with no connection problems. One small issue was the windows. The frosted vinyl doesn’t cover them all the way up, so some light comes in at night. I slept fine anyway, probably because I was exhausted, haha.

We booked a street-level apartment for Friday night in Salamanca. Noise from people passing by and cars was bad, but the cold was worse. The central heating switched off at midnight, and by 1 AM we were freezing inside at 15 degrees. There weren’t any blankets or comforters. We called, and they sent a poor guy on a 40-minute walk to bring two small fan heaters. He said there were no blankets, so they sent him to look in the apartment next door, but there weren’t any there either. They didn’t even pay for a taxi. We couldn’t sleep. I absolutely don’t recommend it, especially in winter.

They let us check in a little before the official time, accept pets, and the place is cute with a decent location. But the coffee maker was broken, the sofa had what I’d call “suspicious” stains, and the walls are so thin that partying neighbors made it impossible to sleep. They should take better care of the place.
