We contacted Booking.com about the mold, and they offered us another apartment across the street. We'd already unpacked all our suitcases, it was late, and there was no guarantee the studio would be in the same condition, so we stayed and didn't use the air conditioning. It took until our second night to notice mold in the shower and especially in the air conditioner, after arriving late the first night and leaving early. We were breathing it all night. Booking.com said the owner would respond, but six days later there still wasn't even an apology.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the kitchen had good equipment. But the room was tiny, as other reviews mention, and didn't feel as spacious as the photos suggest. There was dirt on the walls, especially in the kitchen, including a bit of food stuck to the wall in my apartment. The bathroom door was just a wooden sheet with a latch on both sides and no handle. Above the shower, one of the ceiling plasterboard panels was loose and looked really bad.

The bathroom drain smell was so strong I could barely breathe, and the musty odor hit as soon as I walked in. It was still there after airing the place out overnight. The online photos look lovely, but they can't tell you how it smells. There was a wobbly faucet and dirty bed linen too. And that overpowering cheap deodorant scent in the hallway, was it meant to cover the mustiness? Warning, foul stink danger!

A cozy little studio with everything we needed to relax and enjoy a weekend in the city. The location was just right for seeing the sights. Everything was excellent!

We were surprised to find a nightclub right below the apartment, and the noise made it hard to sleep. We hadn't known about it when we booked, so next time we'll check those details more carefully. The apartment is small but well equipped for a short stay, and we managed fine. Its location is excellent for getting around and seeing the main sights. If noise doesn't bother you, it could be a good choice.
