Apartamentos Snö Escarrilla

We had a relaxing few days here with our two children. The peaceful, beautiful setting was lovely, though many places nearby were closed for the season. We might come back in winter. The apartment felt fairly new and had plenty of space, although the mattresses were a little hard. They leave a cleaning kit with a scourer, cloth, rubbish bag, and dishwasher tablet. A good stay overall.

The WhatsApp customer service was really good, and the apartments themselves are modern and clean. We were in apartment 103, where the maintenance needs work: the doors creak and the shower leaks. The sofa bed was probably the most uncomfortable thing I’ve slept on. It’s barely 1.70 metres long, with three different heights and firmness levels, so your feet hang off the end. It’s a shame, because the place has a lot going for it, but the details matter. There are plenty of decent sofa beds on the market.

Getting hold of management was impossible. The apartment was nothing special, and the shower only ran lukewarm, never hot. The sofa bed was like something out of a horror movie 💀. Leaving the place clean would have been easier with more than just a broom and one rag. There weren’t any cleaning products at all.

I asked to check in before 4 PM and gave 48 hours’ notice, but they only told me the night before that it wasn’t possible. That left me no time to plan my trip. Their service was appalling: no one answers the phone, and they require a deposit before arrival, then inspect the apartment after you’ve left and return the money whenever they feel like it. I’ll never go back.
