Barceló Margaritas

Marco helped make our holiday so memorable. He got me joining in with the activities, made everyone feel welcome, and was always ready for a laugh. His enthusiasm really rubbed off on us. We had a brilliant time and came away with so many great memories. Thanks, Marco, we can't wait to come back!

We had a brilliant family break at the Barceló Margaritas in Gran Canaria. The children's activities, playground and several pools kept everyone happy, and the entertainment and atmosphere made it feel very family friendly. Meals were enjoyable too, with lots of fresh and tasty choices. Everywhere was spotless, from our room to the shared areas, which were kept to a high standard each day. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. Great value and comfort for a holiday. We'd happily return. 10/10, thank you! 🏖🌞

We spent the days relaxing by either of the two pools, with bars close by, and the beach and nightlife were within easy reach. The rooms were huge, with lots of space, and the hotel itself was lovely. Everyone on staff made us feel welcome. There was a big selection of good-quality food throughout our stay. I'd happily recommend the hotel and resort for a relaxing break in Gran Canaria.

The food was good for a four-star half-board resort, with loads of fresh fruit and vegetables. Vegetarians had a limited selection, mostly pasta, pizza, potatoes, chips, fruit, vegetables and pastries, and there were hardly any vegan choices. They did have milk alternatives, which was nice. Staff were attentive and really friendly. Thanks to Marcelo from entertainment and Luciano at the breakfast and dinner buffet, both lovely. There are two pools with plenty of sunbeds, plus an arcade that I think is open 24/7, with games and table tennis. The room was roomy, had a balcony facing the pool at no extra cost, and came with a fridge. The beds were two singles pushed together rather than a proper double, which was annoying. Fantastic value, and I'd stay again.
