Bungalows Marbella Golf

We loved breakfast by the pool, and it was an easy walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. The area is quiet. Our room was a good size and clean, with a great sunset view over the golf course and dunes in the distance. Can't fault anything, we had an excellent stay.

The hotel is clean and peaceful, with a nice pool, really big rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. The gym is great too, but it was so hot inside that I couldn't use it often. The air conditioning may not have been working, and the drinking water was always empty. As a smoker, I understand why smoking isn't allowed at the pool bar. There is a smoking area with sofas, but no shade. It was over 37 degrees, the wind was hot, the sun was burning, and even the sofas were hot. I'd get a drink at the bar and then go back to my terrace. I would have liked to sit there for a while, but smoking in the shade at the bar wasn't allowed, even though it was empty. The area wasn't comfortable, and the cocktails were below average. It would be good to have a smoking spot at the bar, or at least a large parasol over the current area. Still, I can recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone. Nico

The staff really care, and breakfast was tasty, with a good variety through the week. Beatrix gave us super service on our first night and made us feel very welcome, thank you. The location is convenient, and the rooms are huge and spotlessly cleaned every day. I don't know why there are negative reviews. The spa looks a little tired in places, but everything still works perfectly. I'll be back 👍👍

At check-in around 7 pm, I panicked when nobody was at reception, but I found a very helpful employee at the pool bar. The hotel is lovely and quiet, and our suite was spacious and beautiful, with a very comfortable bed. The bathtub could use a few cosmetic repairs. Breakfast was good. I didn't try the spa, so can't comment on it.
