The food suited me well, with freshly cooked meat and fish at every meal, plus plenty of salads, fresh fruit, soup and sides. Drinks were a good selection too, and I never struggled to find a spot by the pool. As a solo woman, I felt safe and welcome from the moment I arrived, and met lots of lovely people. The clean, uncluttered bungalows had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s quiet at night, away from the main nightlife, but buses and taxis nearby made it easy to get around. I had a restful holiday and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The place was clean and neat, with good entertainment and great drinks. Food was fine too. It’s a little out of town, so I had to take the bus into the city. The pool wasn’t heated as advertised. Still, I had a very good experience and don’t see why this is only a two-star hotel.

We’ve just come back from a week here, two adults and children aged 12+13. The staff were lovely, and Pedro was our favourite. The entertainment guy I’ll call bing bong was brilliant, keeping us occupied during the day and some evenings. The hotel and pools were very clean. It’s a small complex that could be great for a relaxing break, though you’ll need a taxi, bus or hire car to get around. We used taxis, which wait right outside. The rooms are basic but have what you need. There’s no downstairs air con, but leaving the bedroom door open cools that area down. The food was the big problem for us. We ended up ordering takeaways every night or eating out because breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner were awful: stale bread, soggy pasta, dry salad, tiny salad selection, bland food with no seasoning, very little meat or cheese beyond a small amount at breakfast, and just red and green apples and chopped oranges each day. The drinks weren’t good either. The cola and fizzy drinks tasted cheap, the fruit juice wasn’t nice, and we couldn’t buy branded drinks as an option. We aren’t very fussy, but our whole family struggled to eat there, and many others we spoke to, including Spanish tourists, said the same. I know it’s a small place, but the restaurant is big enough to offer more variety. If the owner improved the food, I’d return, because the place itself is great. But food matters, and it let us down so much that I wouldn’t come back. Such a shame.

Staff are so friendly, and it’s really good value. It’s a bit out of the way, so with kids to entertain I’d suggest hiring a car. The beach is a 25min walk, or you can take a bus or taxi for €4. I’d book again.
