Apartamentos Karina

We were there for a week, the two of us, one man and one woman. It's budget accommodation and you know that when you book. I usually take a chance with places like this, but it was better than I expected. We arrived late and had to collect the key from the hotel across the road, which was easy and smooth. The apartment had everything we needed in the kitchen, including pans, plates, a coffee machine and toaster. The sitting room was spacious, and the terrace was just right for getting sun. It was only a few steps to a very clean pool area. The bedroom was adequate and I slept well throughout. My only real downside was too few power sockets. I had to do my hair in the kitchen without a mirror, because there was no power in the bedroom by the dressing area. The bathroom was great, with a powerful, clean shower. The roof terrace was lovely too, with sea views. John, the owner, came to introduce himself the next morning. I'd had an allergic reaction to something in the UK a few days before the holiday and my face was swollen. When I told him I planned to take the bus to hospital, he kindly drove us there. Thank you! He walked around each morning to check that everything was okay and ask if we needed anything, then left us to our privacy. A kind gentleman. The cleaning lady worked hard and cleaned our apartment sometimes daily, more often than some 5-star hotels we've stayed in. The location is great. There's a Spar shop across the road and a bus stop right opposite, plus a short walk to the beach and restaurant strip. Restaurants in the other direction and the market are also a short walk away. There are steps, so I wouldn't suggest it for anyone with mobility difficulties. We both travel a lot and have stayed in places from 0 stars to 5 stars in many countries. Karina Apartments do what they say on the tin. We said during the stay that we'd come back, and I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend Karina when talking about the holiday. A really handy location, just yards from supermarkets, restaurants and the amazing beaches. The cleaners were friendly, and the general manager was so helpful and accommodating on our last day. We got some cool island history from him too. Great spot, wonderful staff, highly recommended. 10/10 🙂

We had another 10-day stay and everything was perfect again. A fantastic holiday of sunshine, beer and time to chill. Can't wait to be back in June, see you all then xx The owner is amazing and goes out of his way, and the rooms are just right. We first stayed in October, will be back in two weeks, and then again in June. Highly recommended xx

We only got here today, but the hotel is impeccable. The staff are welcoming, the rooms clean, and the manager very nice. Perfectly placed for an evening out or a trip to the beach. ❤️
