It's 10 pm on the first night and the noise is still going. Two big dogs are barking all night on one side, and a Spanish family is blasting music on the other. Reception doesn't seem to care. I've stayed here many times before, but this has been a holiday from hell so far, and it'll be my last visit. Too many of these have been sold off to rowdy Spanish guests. I won't be back.

There were bugs in the bed, and no soap or basic supplies. 😭

Spent a really relaxing week in a nice private bungalow at Los Arcos in Gran Canaria.

The bar staff were super friendly, and the cocktails were delicious. We liked the relaxed feel by the pool, where there was always a security guard. There's also a shop, restaurant, and massage parlor on site. Having our own small apartment for the holiday was lovely, with a garden, loungers, and a table for meals outside. Ours was cleaned quickly each day and looked tidy, though it could use a proper scrub around the skirting boards, cabinets, tile grout, and other spots. There was no dish soap or sponge, so we bought our own. We also had to carry our suitcase about 15 meters because there was no sidewalk leading to the apartment. It's a good option if you're not expecting luxury.
