The nearby racetrack was audible during our stay, mostly over the weekend. We enjoyed the visit as a family, and the room was bright and spacious. Staff were friendly. The Spar minimarket was handy, and it didn’t feel overpriced like similar shops at some other resorts.

We liked the quieter setting, with about five restaurants nearby. There’s no nighttime entertainment, so you’ll need a bus, taxi or hire car if you want somewhere livelier. We prefer a calmer hotel where we can relax. Staff were helpful and easy to talk to, and the bar, reception and other areas were clean. We stayed in August in a spacious two-bedroom self-catering apartment. The beds were fairly comfortable, though a little hard for me, as I prefer a softer bed. The kitchen was small and simple but had enough, and the bathroom was a good size with a large shower, steady hot water and good pressure. The hotel food was nice and reasonably priced. A small Spar shop sold most essentials, with a larger supermarket a short walk away. There were lots of sports and classes, including yoga. The large communal pool had activities during the day, like water polo and aqua aerobics. Sunbeds were easy to find. We were told it was low season and the hotel was at half capacity, though it still felt fairly busy each day.

There’s a good little bike shop in the hotel, and its e-bike tours are excellent. The health activities, including yoga, are great, and the food is good too. Staff were helpful. It’s a top-class place, with a focus on activities rather than the booze-centered approach of traditional hotels. I’ll definitely come back at some point.

We had a fantastic stay as a family, and the staff were amazing. The resort restaurant offered different food every day and was great. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen in the room if you want to cook, though we came to relax. The room had fantastic views, and there were pool activities every day. It was a short walk to the beach, with plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby. The local bus station can take you all around the island. We have two children and are always looking for places with activities for them as well as for adults. This place ticked all the boxes.
