The home felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, and it was lovely to have breakfast and chat with guests from different countries and the hosts. We stayed at Las Mariposas for 8 nights with my fiancee and were glad we found it. Parking was easy, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so no worries about drinking and driving. I'd recommend Las Mariposas if you're staying in the area.

Kalpana's cooking was a highlight, with generous, varied, delicious breakfasts and other meals. We stayed at las Mariposas for 4 days(3 nights), my daughter’s treat, and loved the pretty, impeccably maintained house. Our room was fabulous, with its own bathroom and all the essentials, including thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and toiletries. Having a yoga session in the garden was a lovely new experience. Kalpana was flexible about session times, which helped us enjoy a varied and relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. Thank you! We'd love to come back sometime.

I spent 10 days at the property and had a wonderful time. The host was friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. I especially enjoyed the early morning yoga and evening walks around the quiet town. Breakfast was delicious, too. Thanks to the wonderful host, and I hope to visit again soon.

At Las Mariposas in La Marina, we had a comfortable, homely stay. The rooms had been decorated with care and creativity, each with a thoughtful theme. The host, Kalpana, led a fabulous yoga session, too. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing break under the Spanish sun.

The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and refreshing, made right in front of us. We were served coffee and lovely fresh-squeezed orange juice. The parking lot is across the street, and the hosts are caring and very friendly. A very nice homestay.
