Hotel Villa Eugenia

Tea and coffee were free in the hotel throughout the day, and there was a snack machine downstairs. Breakfast was tasty, too. Our room was clean, comfortable, and clearly well looked after, with a handy bathroom and lots of towels. They even left complimentary drinks like cola, water, and iced tea. Parking costs extra, but it’s fully enclosed, and you can leave the car there until 5 PM on checkout day for another 9 euros, even though checkout is at noon. Staff spoke Spanish, English, and French. Great value.

The staff helped us deal with a small medical issue quickly and calmly. The receptionists were lovely, especially the one with curly hair. It’s a friendly, quiet little hotel, and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choice. We even took a quick dip in the pool, which was a really nice area and must be lovely in summer. The old town is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend.

We were within a 15-minute walk of the old town and lots of restaurants, so the location worked really well. The room was quiet, stylish, and recently refurbished, though a bit narrow for three people. Everything in the hotel was very clean, and there was complimentary coffee in the lobby around the clock. Booking by phone was easy and friendly when I asked for an extra bed for our child and a parking space. We got a warm welcome on arrival. Great value for money.

The small swimming pool was really nice, and there’s a bus stop very close by. We could walk to Gros and its beach in a short time. The reception team were all kind and helpful. Our room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the shower huge. Free sodas and a coffee machine were a nice touch. Parking was useful, though it costs extra. Everything went perfectly during our stay in San Sebastian.
