The rooms are cute, with a yoga vibe, and the location is right in the heart of san sebastian, close to both beaches and the centro. Everything's pretty much at your front door. A few of my lights weren't working, but the landlord moved me into another room that suited me better and gave me some city recommendations. It's my first time in San Sebastian, and I'll likely come back next visit. Thanks again! 🌞 🏄🏽♀️

The location is great, and we'd stay again. Staff were friendly, met us for our 8:45 pm check-in, and answered promptly on WhatsApp. We had to change rooms, but it wasn't a problem. Some of the rooms don't get much light.

Warning. We booked here, but when we arrived the hotel sent us to a different place, where we got a terrible bunk-bed room instead of the double we'd booked. On the last night, this hotel cancelled our booking in the Booking.com app. That left us unable to get a refund or complain through Booking.com as planned, and at the mercy of the other place. They demanded an unagreed fee, or said they wouldn't let us leave or return our passports. It felt like a setup and a scam. A terrible experience. P.S. Booking.com accepted responsibility and gave us a small refund, but I think this hostel is still listed there, which is madness. Don't book.

The location was good and the room was a decent size. That was about it for the positives. On arrival, we kept ringing the bell. Someone answered and told us to come up, but the front door wouldn't open. They answered again when we rang, but still didn't come down to let us in. We only got into the building when another resident happened to leave. The staff greeted us at the apartment door but wouldn't come down the two flights of stairs to open the building door. Staff were bad, and booking here could ruin your trip. This is a hostel, not a hotel. You get a private room, but the bathrooms are shared, so their cleanliness depends on how tidy the other guests are. On our second day, I went to a nearby store while my wife stayed in the room. We only had one set of keys, and I didn't lock the door because she was inside. She hadn't locked it either, though the door was closed. About 10 minutes after I left, a man opened it, saw her on the bed using her computer, apologized, and closed it. There was no reception, and it was clear which rooms were for guests. Ours was the only guest room on that side of the wall, so it didn't seem like an easy mistake. This was around 1 pm in the daytime. Be aware that, depending on who else is staying there, someone might try to enter your room if you don't lock it. We were booked for two nights, but our plans changed, so on the first day we asked about adding a night. Booking.com showed the room at $108. We messaged the hosts on WhatsApp to see if booking directly might be cheaper. They replied 10 minutes later with a higher price, then changed the price on Booking.com too. We already get a discount through the site, so we booked there. The next day, they said another group had a five-night reservation and we would have to move somewhere else to make room. We'd deliberately booked the same room for the extra night so we wouldn't have to move. If we'd wanted to move, we'd have chosen a cheaper hotel. After the incident with the man, we no longer felt safe there and told them to cancel the extra night. After checkout, Booking.com notified us that the original two-day booking had also been cancelled, without a refund. It seemed to us they did that deliberately so we couldn't leave a negative review on the site. Beware!

Comfortable, with nice service and a great location. There’s room for improvement, but I’d stay again.
