Damaris, the housekeeper, was so kind and made us feel at home. She shared plenty of local tips and recommendations. We liked the place's old style, and the room was clean, big enough, and had a nice balcony. The price was quite high, though there weren't many cheaper choices around. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

I spent two nights in a single room. It's clean and in a convenient, walkable spot, especially if you're taking a bus or train to a nearby city. The bathroom is really small and not suitable for a tall man. I also missed having a refrigerator in the room or a shared area.

We paid 580 euro for three nights in what felt like a prison cell. The website showed spacious rooms with big windows and leafy views, but ours was tiny, with one small window facing a narrow lightwell and barely any daylight. The ceiling lights were so bright we couldn't use them, so we sat in half gloom and couldn't even read. There's no reception, and entry is by digital passcode. We emailed the management and got a reply that was more or less “tough luck.” There was no advice or helpful leaflet available. Be sure you know exactly which room you'll get if you book here.

The rooms were nice and clean, though the bathroom was a bit small and not the best setup. Still, the location is excellent for a reasonable price, and the place is well worth staying at.

If all you need is a cheap room, this is adequate. It was perfectly okay, but very basic, with dated decor. The walls and doors are so thin that getting a good night's sleep wasn't easy. I don't think I'd come back.
