White Cozy Flat in Donostia

The hosts gave us a really useful guide to getting around, with public transport, restaurants and bars to try, and places to visit. We had a great time, and we'd definitely recommend the place to anyone going there or return ourselves. It's pet-friendly, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. Everything was spotless and well looked after, with little extras like coffee pods. The beds were comfortable and the terrace was fantastic. Parking can be difficult since it's a busy blue zone.

The apartment has plenty of space, good natural light, a terrace, and a great location. But it needs more maintenance. The electric blind in the main bedroom wasn't working when we arrived, so we couldn't open it during the stay. I figured things like that can happen, then found more problems: many of the lights didn't work, popcorn burned in the microwave because the plate wouldn't turn, and the coffee maker leaked and didn't work properly. I told the owner about the coffee maker, and he said he already knew and other guests had complained. Looking at earlier reviews, people had been mentioning it since 2020. With a 9.8 rating on Booking.com, I think he should take more care of these details. For the price, which really isn't bad, he could replace the coffee maker. If these things were fixed, the apartment would deserve its rating.

We were very happy with the apartment, especially for the price. It's fairly new and well equipped, and the owner was friendly and understanding about what we needed. The area is not far from La Concha beach and the city center, about a half-hour walk.

A quiet, spacious apartment, furnished with real care and taste. The terrace is lovely, and from there you can see the beautiful church of the Gesù, designed by Rafael Moneo, a jewel of contemporary architecture.
