Hotel Arenal

We got a lot for a very fair price, so the value for money really stood out. The food was fresh, tasty, and had plenty of variety for everyone. Best of all, the hotel is right on the beach, so we could enjoy the sea all day without needing a car. The welcome felt warm and family-like from the moment we arrived. A relaxed, friendly spot for a beach holiday, and one I highly recommend.

I’ve stayed here 3 years in a row now and would recommend it. It’s a large hotel with restaurants, bars, shops, and the beach all close by. Walk out the door and you’re on the main strip, with the beach just a few feet away. The staff are very friendly, speak good English, and it was nice that they recognised me from earlier visits. There’s a good food selection every day, including basic choices for fussy eaters. The rooms are quite spacious, though old fashioned.

The sea view was breathtaking, and the room was spacious, with a little foyer, a large bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Jessica and Anna told me on arrival that I’d been upgraded because I booked directly through the hotel website. Ava at reception and Luisa in the breakfast room were so warm and friendly. The breakfast buffet, around 20AUD, was perfect and had lots of variety. There’s a convenience store right across from the carpark, Lidl is within walking distance, and the bus stop is pretty much at the doorstep. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Arenal xx

The food was amazing, with a good selection each day and something different every time. Evening entertainment was split between this hotel and its sister hotel, Ses Savines, and it was good. David Vincent was the highlight of the week. Great hotel, with excellent staff all around.
