La kiki Apartments

The sea view was great and the service was okay. But the hotel is getting old, the fridge was noisy, the bathroom smelled, and breakfast was average. The manager refused to refund one night out of five despite the cancellation policy.

The hotel itself was lovely, clean and well located, but our experience at reception was really frustrating. We asked the English man working reception and the bar to call us a taxi. He rolled his eyes and sent us to the taxi rank down the road. When the taxis we tried to flag down made the call hand signal, we went back and asked him again. He refused and said they wouldn’t come even if he called. That ruined our evening. Aside from that, it’s a lovely place.

The apartments were spotless, including their fridges and kitchenettes, and the cleaners clearly take pride in their work. It’s a lovely, quiet hotel with a relaxing pool area. Very good!

For me, the best thing was the pool: clean, peaceful and great to spend time by. The hotel is modern, quite beautiful, well located, and decent value for the quality. The rooms are basic but spacious, with nice little balconies. Breakfast is average, and the staff are okay, though it depends who you meet ;-) Some things could use more care. The breakfast room and our room could have been cleaner, and the cheap furniture is getting old and isn’t well maintained. There was also a constant smell of fried calamari from the restaurant opposite along the beach. You could smell it at the bar, terrace and pool, and even in the room with the window open. Very bad.
