Sol Bahia Ibiza Suites

We chose a sea-view suite and loved the sunset from the balcony. The room was well equipped, and the team made our honeymoon feel extra special with complimentary Cava. The pool area is well laid out, there were always free sunbeds, and sunset from there is spectacular too. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar prices were reasonable for Ibiza. This was our second stay, and we think it’s one of the best places near the sunset strip. It’s peaceful, away from Mambo and similar spots, but still just a 10-minute walk. I’d highly recommend it for the quality, the views and the excellent customer service.

The only thing that bothered me was the very bright balcony lighting. It can’t be switched off and the hotel turns it off automatically after 1.00 am. That’s annoying if you want to sleep with the window and curtains open, and it attracts insects too. Maybe it’s a designer’s idea to light up the whole hotel, but it doesn’t work well for guests. I’ve stayed in bigger hotels in Ibiza two or three times a year for many years, and was sceptical about this one at first. It turned out to be a great choice: the location is peaceful and quiet, but everything is nearby and easy to reach. Our large apartment had a bedroom, a living room with a sofa that could be slept on, a fully working kitchenette with everything stocked, a big bathroom, and a terrace accessible from both rooms. The apartment and the whole hotel were very, very clean and well managed. There’s a restaurant serving excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most of all, the staff across every department were so friendly, always smiling, and accommodating. Vincenzo, Maria, Ashraf and Mario are just a few who made their friendliness and professionalism a pleasure. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Ibiza. Well done.

The chicken cesar salad is great, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The sea and sunset are right nearby, and the suites and shared spaces are always clean and tidy. I’ve stayed here on each of my Ibiza visits over the last two years, and it feels almost like a second home. Looking forward to next year, muy bien, muchos gracias.

The rooms are spacious, very quiet, clean and nicely furnished, which is a must for me as a DJ. The staff are extremely kind, and I also liked the bar service and the lockers where you can leave luggage and collect it whenever you want. The hotel looks out over the sea and is close to San Antonio, but far enough from the noise. I’ve found a convenient place to stay on my Ibiza trips.
