Watching planes from the jacuzzi was unexpectedly fun. We had a room overlooking the airport runway, and relaxing there while planes went by made for a unique experience. The food was excellent, with good variety and quality, and the hotel had a great vibe. We would have preferred chill-out or DJ-style music in the evenings to the live singers, but that comes down to taste. The main frustration was dealing with towels. There was no rack or dryer in the room, and exchanges were only available at specific times that often didn’t fit our plans. Sometimes when we made it back in time, nobody was there anyway. After an evening in the jacuzzi, we had nowhere to hang the towels, so the same issue kept coming up. The hotel should improve this. Despite that, we had a fantastic holiday, were very satisfied, and would happily return.

Yasmina at the pool bar remembered my drink order after the first night, so depending on the queue, my drinks were already being poured as I walked up. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Our 14-year-old daughter has been entertained every day without any trouble. The rooms are clean, the beds were super comfortable, though the pillow wasn’t to my taste. They can’t please everyone. We’re very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

If you’re going to Ushuaïa or Hi, want to be close to the action, and like pork, this place could work well for what you pay. The location was the best part for me. You can watch the planes land and it’s close to Ushuaïa. I don’t understand all the complaints about plane or strip noise. The pool is nice, though it gets crowded and there are queues at the bar. The staff are nice too. I was surprised by how many families with young kids were here, given this is the playa den bossa PARTY STRIP. The kids themselves aren’t the issue, but some families were screaming and slamming doors in the early hours while the rest of us were trying to sleep. I also found the food repetitive: pork came in several versions at lunch and dinner, and it was a treat when they served chicken breast. As a celiac, I was poisoned twice by the buffet because the food labels weren’t reliable. At the snack bar they told me there was nothing gluten-free, so I ended up ordering uber eats a few times. If you have an allergy, I wouldn’t go here.

The hotel is so close to the airport that you can check in soon after landing, though planes constantly fly overhead. Our travel agency had warned us, so we were prepared, and I doubt other hotels in the area are much quieter. The beach was clean and well maintained, but the sea was clear only on some days. When the wind changed, seaweed floated around. We stayed in September, in a clean, well-kept room with a whirlpool on the terrace overlooking the pool and a little bit of sea. There were a few small details, like the hand soap being by the bathtub and the shampoo above the sink. We thought we might not use the whirlpool much, but we relaxed in it every day. We could fill and empty it ourselves, so the water was clean and at a temperature we liked. The food deserves its own mention. I haven’t seen such a huge selection elsewhere, and the lunch and dinner menus changed regularly, with plenty of meat, sides, vegetables, fruit and desserts. One thing we disliked was the dining room staff trying to keep part of it closed even when the room was full. If someone sat in that area because there was nowhere else, they were sent away quite rudely. Otherwise, staff at reception, the bars and housekeeping were very nice and helpful. All-inclusive also included a generous selection of mixed drinks, common spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. For me, the accommodation was great. Looking back, I’d give the hotel five stars, although a few minor issues could have cost it one.
