BLUESEA Gran Playa

The people here made the trip for me and my friends. Alba, Theo, Valentin and Alex at the bar were fantastic, friendly and ready to help however they could. I’ll remember them and this place for a long time. 💚 BlueSea Gran Playa was very clean, and the reception team were polite and lovely. Shops, restaurants and bars are within a five-minute walk, including a large Carrefour supermarket. The beach takes about ten minutes to reach on foot, and there’s a nearby nature reserve for hiking. I’m very, very happy. Thank you!

The food was mostly great, tasty and varied, and we were accommodated well for a gluten-free diet. They had a menu made specifically for us, as well as the usual food labelled with allergens. There was entertainment even in April, and THEO from the entertainment team was especially friendly. The rooms were excellent and the facilities were good too, with two pools, a restaurant and a bar. Highly recommend.

The hotel had a nice atmosphere, good music, and lovely, friendly staff. Special thanks to theo, who made our stay enjoyable, and the entertainment team were very good. The hotel itself was lovely and clean, with really comfortable beds. We stayed a few nights with family. The location was okay, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and calar millor a short train ride or transfer away. The food was standard for a three-star hotel. Picky eaters might struggle unless they like chips, but the alcohol was great.

The location was a real plus. The beach is five minutes away, the bus stop is practically on the doorstep for Cala Millor, Porto Christo, Cala Bona, Palma and the airport, and you can walk to a few smaller villages. There’s also a little zoo, supermarket and water park close by. I travelled with my teenage daughter, and we both felt welcome. I’d had doubts after reading earlier reviews, but I’d come back with family or friends. We stayed for 12 nights on all-inclusive. Our room was bright, spacious enough and had what we needed, including a hair dryer, fridge, comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the pool. You can rent other items if needed. There are two lifts serving all floors, helpful if mobility is a concern. Housekeeping were friendly and helpful, keeping us supplied with fresh towels and bedding. The food was well prepared with a range for different diets, and the staff worked constantly to make the experience pleasant. Reception were approachable and happy to help with anything. The pool area was managed really well by welcoming bar staff, who worked hard to keep the space tidy and the tables and loungers ready. Outside the bar there’s pool, table hockey, a popcorn machine and a teddy grabber. The entertainment was great for all ages, with bingo, a kids’ segment, live acts, archery and rifle shooting.
