Hotel Boutique Can Pocovi

Breakfast was relaxed and really tasty, and the staff were wonderful. We’d come back as soon as we could. The hotel itself is in a quiet, quaint area, with a few good restaurants within walking distance and the rest of the island about 30-40 minutes away. Our room was exactly as described, very clean, well equipped, and had a comfortable bed. We also loved the grounds, especially the lush garden and the rooftop pool.

The old building’s character still shows in some of the floors and walls, and the high ceilings make the already spacious rooms feel even larger. It’s a small boutique hotel with just eight rooms, in a refurbished building that’s around 100 years old. Check-in was easy, and there were nice buffet choices in the morning. A few things bothered me: there’s no safe, you only get one key, and the bathroom fan is very sensitive. It switches on when you walk within about a meter of the bathroom, which gets irritating.

We really enjoyed breakfast out in the garden, and having coffee in the sunshine on the peaceful rooftop was a lovely start to the day. The buffet had a decent range of local products, with something different each day, and Silvia would make fresh eggs with a smile. In the evenings the rooftop was a quiet place to have a drink or just unwind. The hotel is in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, a handy base for exploring the eastern side of the island. Our room was spacious, modern, and clean, and the whole place was kept impeccably well. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We spent four nights here at the start of June. The historic building has been carefully and tastefully turned into a charming boutique hotel, and it’s lovely to see it given a new life. They’re also expanding into the building across the garden, which is exciting. We’ll remember this holiday fondly and hope to return, maybe to the new part. Thanks for such warm hospitality!
