Naranjos Resort Menorca

The only drawback for us was that the restaurant menu and shop had no vegan or vegetarian options. Apart from that, our family stay was fabulous. The resort grounds and gardens were lovely and very well kept, and the place was in pristine condition. Our spotless apartment had comfortable beds, a pool-view balcony, air conditioning in the apartment and bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Having the shop on site was so convenient; we went in and out two or three times a day. Our flight was delayed, and a room mix-up came up when we arrived late. Staff answered the phone quickly and sorted it out in minutes. María and Carmen at reception were kind and obliging, and offered us a free dinner to make up for the mix-up. Such a thoughtful gesture. The staff were all warm and friendly, and we had a good laugh with Mario and Gabí. Special thanks to Mario, Rodrigo, Angél, Gabí, María and Carmen for the superb hospitality. Highly recommend this for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the meals were delicious and reasonably priced. We spent six days here for a summer holiday and found it quiet, nice and lovely. The kitchen was equipped and the bedrooms were clean. Check the website for a better price.

After more than 30 years of happy visits, it was very disappointing to be refused entry today. We’ve never stayed in the apartments, though our children and grandchildren have, but we’ve always felt welcome to have lunch and use the pool. On Saturday, one male staff member was quite rude when we asked to book a lunch table. He then said they would serve us if we ate at 1pm. When we came today, we were turned away. It came completely out of the blue, and is a very sad end to one of our favourite places, where we’d made so many happy memories. 😢

The area is a little quiet, but there are some lovely walks nearby. We spent ten nights at this beautiful place and loved it. The food and staff were great, the pool was beautiful, and the room was great with perfectly cold air conditioning. We really didn’t want to leave. I’d definitely recommend Los Naranjos and visit again; I couldn’t fault much about it.
