Hostal Restaurante Arasa

This place was a disaster, and I left feeling I'd wasted my money. The town felt deserted, with nobody out on the street, and there was a strong smell of burning rubbish. I wouldn't recommend it at all. The room cost €76 despite being noisy, the bathroom door was broken, and tobacco smoke kept coming in underneath it. I couldn't tell where the smell was coming from. The bed creaked with every move and kept waking me up, while the bells rang loudly both day and night. They should take away this hostel's two stars.

Only consider staying here if a cheap room is all you're after. Mine was very cramped, the sheets had stains that wouldn't wash out, and after walking around I found a piece of fingernail in my sock.

It's fine if you just need somewhere to sleep, but the restaurant isn't open.

With the bar shut and hardly anywhere around the center serving dinner, we ended up driving out of town to find food. The hostel has no parking, so the owner suggested the municipal lot about 100 meters away. We were lucky to head back to the car early, at 7:45 in the morning, just as they were setting up the market. We had to leave in a hurry or we would have been in trouble. The €80 fine and towing cost would have been a nasty surprise, and she hadn't told us it was Saturday. The church is right beside the hostel, and its clocks rang all night, so we couldn't get any rest. Very disappointing.
