Hotel Adonis Plaza

The rooms are quite dated and could do with refurbishing, and street noise disturbed us. Still, for the price I can’t complain and would certainly come back. The location is perfect, right in the city centre and close to the cruise port, with lots of restaurants and the market nearby. The staff were amazing, very pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was good.

We found the room a little small, with two twin beds, but it did the job. Breakfast was adequate, and the desk staff were polite and helpful. The central location was great, and it was good value for money. I’d recommend the hotel.

I stayed six nights and loved the friendly staff, the atmosphere and the location. Restaurants, bars and transport are easy to get to. Skip the cab and take the bus, it’s much easier and more affordable. This side of Tenerife is a bit more mature than other parts. Breakfast was only a 4/10, just something to grab and put in your stomach, but there are plenty of great breakfast places within a few minutes’ walk. My stay was an 8/10 overall.

The location is great, close to the shopping area and harbour, though it got noisy at night with people singing loudly in the street and sounds from the bars and terraces. The bathroom was new and clean. The rooms themselves are a bit shabby, with old-fashioned furniture, and the balcony is tiny, really just enough for one person at a time.
