Hotel Apartamentos El Pinar

The bar staff were especially cheerful and friendly, and the staff really made our holiday. Lunch at el pinar was top class, especially the delicious garlic prawns and chicken skewers. Breakfast had a great range of food, but it was only just warm, and the eggs and everything else were cold, which spoiled it. Our apartment was on the ground floor, so although the sea view was stunning, it was quite dark and the balcony never got any sun. The pool area didn’t get sun until 11 either, so we sat on the beach until then. The location is superb, right on the beach, close to bars and a few shops, with a ferry nearby for trips to the old town and Santa Eulalia. It may have been late in the season when we went on 21 October, as many bars had already closed. It’s worth paying for the sea view, and we’ll go back.

Everything was spotless throughout this great aparthotel, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Special thanks to Tina, who found us a great room when we had to return after a bad storm cancelled our flight.

The view from my room took my breath away. I’d love to wake up to scenery like that every day. I was travelling alone, and the staff were especially friendly and attentive, which made me feel safe and looked after. Breakfast was perfect, with lots of choices, and I loved sitting outside in the fresh air. My room was tidy and very clean. The cutlery and pans could have been cleaner, but I didn’t use them, so it didn’t bother me much. I had a wonderful stay at El Pinar and will definitely come back.

We spent an amazing week here with two friends. The welcome was perfect, the service excellent, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended, nothing to complain about!
