The room was spacious, the pillow comfortable, and the shower good. The young housekeeping woman was smiley and sweet, and there was some parking. But overall, avoid this place if you're looking for a pleasant, relaxing, stress-free, welcoming stay. We booked a twin room more than 3 months ahead. Two days before arrival, we were told the two beds weren't available and only a double remained. That didn't work for us, but it was too short notice to find another place. The proprietor was slow to take responsibility, barely apologised, made no effort to fix things or compensate us, and was very rude. At first he insisted we'd booked a double, even though our confirmation clearly showed two twin beds. He didn't treat us like paying guests. We asked if he could provide an extra bed, even a child's mattress, and he said no without trying to find one. He seemed completely uninterested and tried to walk away instead of talking to us. He told me I should be more concerned about bigger problems in the world, basically saying to just put up with it. We ended up buying a camping mattress and pump from Decathlon across the road. You can see it from the house. The view described as 'Mountain view' was actually new-build houses, a busy main road, and a large retail development, with distant hills behind them. There was no breakfast, no information about the room, house, or area, and no coffee or tea facilities. I only saw the proprietor at check-in. The balcony light didn't work, so mosquitoes came inside, attracted by the indoor lights. The proprietor told us on WhatsApp that arrival payment had to be cash or paid by card through Booking.com in advance, although our booking confirmation clearly said card payments could be made at the premises.

Just arrived, and it seems like a cozy, pleasant place. The inside and outside remind me of a rural mansion, and the rooms are spacious. The person at reception doesn't speak English, but understands it quite well, so communication isn't a problem for non-English speakers. There's a beautiful courtyard with a distant ocean view. Good value for the price.

The rooms are nice and large, the location is good, and parking is available.

We drove here to catch the ferry to England and ended up staying two extra nights at Jardin de Angela. It's spacious and makes it really easy to get to the coast. Highly recommended.

A beautiful building and room, with loads of space and a fantastic balcony. ;-)
