For the price, you get great value. The location worked well, with two bus lines going straight into town and the football stadium and beach within walking distance. Our room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was included and good, and we'd definitely come back.

The location made getting around easy: Segunda Playa del Sardinero is a five-minute walk, and buses 1, 2, 3, 6, and 21 connect to the old town and city centre from a stop three minutes away. We also found free street parking nearby. The room was large and clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. Breakfast was a continental buffet with a good range of bread, meats, fruit, yoghurt, juices, cakes, and more. The lounge's free coffee machine was a really nice extra.

The staff were fantastic, helpful, and generous, and the breakfast was simple but high quality. Guests could use the coffee machine at any time. It's a lovely little hotel near the beach, with enough food options nearby to make for an enjoyable stay in Santander. Totally recommended.

Our second day was horrible. At breakfast, the bread wasn't out on time, and when I raised that the only food I could eat was cheese and salami, the man at the service desk rudely told me to eat what was there. The red-haired male employee took my comment as an offense and accused us of stealing food. My wife had been sick with her stomach for four days, so we took a natural yogurt for the road and two oranges. He called that theft. At checkout, we mentioned his behavior and he started arguing with us. He was totally unprofessional, rude, ignorant, and disrespectful. He wouldn't raise the gate so we could leave with our vehicle, and we had to lean on the horn for minutes. How can management think someone so poorly educated and abusive toward clients is right for that position? I don't recommend this place. If you see that red-haired bald man, you'll know what to expect.
