We were five in the family, and the villa had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen diner and living room are both spacious, and every large bedroom has an en-suite. The wardrobes and drawers were enormous, easily enough space to unpack for months. The beds are on the firm side, which suits us better than soft, spongey mattresses, though I can see some people not liking them. Raquel and her father were welcoming and helpful whenever we needed anything. We barely needed to ask, since the villa itself worked so well for us. Egos is an easy 5-6 minute walk, and Cala Dor marina takes about 20 minutes on foot, a pleasant walk. We hired a car from local firm Roig for shopping and getting further around. The air conditioning worked well, which mattered in the very humid weather. We paid extra to have it taken off the timer, which makes sense given the electricity cost. We still didn’t leave it running all day, but having it on for an hour before getting ready at night was money well spent. We travel to nice places around the world, including Australia, Dubai and the Far East, and stay in both villas and lovely 5-star hotels. We know a villa won’t compare with somewhere like Al Qasr in Dubai, and could pick at the decor or furniture quality, but this one was more than adequate for us. We’d stay again without hesitation.
