INNER Hostal Es Molí

We had a few things come up, including needing extra blankets and sorting out the safe, and management handled those quickly even without a front desk. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the hotel was very clean, nicely decorated, well located, and fairly quiet at night. The shower drain was reported as blocked but never got fixed, so water spread across the whole bathroom whenever we showered. The air conditioning was another letdown. Its lowest setting was 21°C, which felt warm in Cala d’Or. For a longer stay, a mini fridge for keeping water cold would also have been useful. Those issues are why I'm giving four stars, although the stay was otherwise excellent.

Food and beaches were easy to get to from Es Moli in Cala D’Or, which was just what we wanted. I booked in March, before any reviews or proper photos were available, because I wanted to show Mallorka to my Mother. We were nervous about that, but the hotel turned out to meet all our expectations. There can be evening noise from the two popular restaurants nearby. We were so tired it didn't bother us. Drying clothes in the room was difficult, and there was no fridge for drinks or snacks.

We had a nice, clean, new-looking room, cleaned every day. You're right in the middle of Cala D'Or, with the main restaurant-lined street in view from the balcony. It was quiet with the windows shut. Check-in and check-out were self-service, and for the price it was good value.

Such a charming little hostal, with a lovely Mediterranean feel. The staff were really helpful, and some of Mallorca’s prettiest beaches are an unbeatable short walk away.
