Albergue Turistico la Credencial - Hostel

A nice, very clean place, close to downtown and equipped with a kitchen.

After 13 days on the Camino, this was my worst hostel stay. All three of us had back pain from the extremely uncomfortable beds. The room was cold and its heater didn't work. Bathrooms were cramped and stuffy, with doors opening inward; the showers shut off on their own and you couldn't adjust the water temperature. The room locks were loud, and it's a 20-minute walk from the center. I'd avoid it if possible.

The staff were super friendly and welcomed us warmly, then showed us our rooms. Later they offered to move us into a mostly empty room where just one other girl was staying. We were there only one night, but when we realized we'd lost something at the hostel, they patiently helped us, sent photos of the missing item and later shipped it to the address we gave them. The kitchen was nice and clean, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds comfortable. Thank you so much!

The staff were great, and the showers were great too. There was a big glass cabinet with creams, basic medicines and shampoos to use. I got the best sleep of my whole trip in a quiet room, in a clean bunk that didn't wobble. There were plugs by the bed, little lights under each bed, large lockable cupboards for backpacks right beside the beds, and curtains to give each person some separation. Worth the money, can't go wrong.
