The location is ideal, close to the train station, shops, and good restaurants. My room and the showers were clean, and staff could be reached by phone. But getting through the doors was a real problem. I got a street entrance key with my room key, but no key for the apartment door. I only managed to open it alone the first time; after that, someone else had to let me in. The app worked only now and then, so I couldn't reliably enter the apartment by myself. Getting the room key from its box was confusing too. You have to pull down the small lever to the left of the four digit code panel, then fold down the little box beneath it. I called for help, and a staff member came to my door, but she couldn't open the box either. We had to open it manually. A picture showing what the box looks like when open would have helped, as would a key or code for the apartment's middle door. I did read the instructions, and so did the staff member who came to help. I still stayed there, but woke in the middle of the night with a headache. There was no ventilation in the room, so I had to open the window to get some air.

Fair service for a fair price. My room was the one farthest away, and the Wi-Fi there was poor. Even though it was right in the middle of the building, mobile 4G worked much better. The bathrooms were clean and fine. The doors and locks felt pretty loose, though that's common in hostels, so it wasn't a problem for me.

The key system made things harder than they needed to be. My key box wouldn't work, so the cleaning lady had to let me in, luckily she was around. Most people seemed to have trouble with it too. Otherwise, the place was clean, convenient, and well located, and the price was reasonable given how busy Santiago is. You share bathrooms, but there are plenty.

I had a great stay. It's very clean, well located, and good value, and help was friendly and just a phone call away. Some people seem to have trouble with check-in, but that shouldn't put you off.
