Juan met me at the door when I arrived late, after I let him know I was coming, and helped me to my room. He also offers coffee, cake, and toast for breakfast for 4 euros, a lovely way to start the day. It's excellent accommodation, about a 30-minute walk downhill to the Cathedral. I took a taxi back to the hotel from the bus stop, and it cost 10 Euro.

I arrived after midnight, and Aunt was waiting for me outside. The place was very, very clean and seemed like new accommodation. It cost €65, and I booked the morning before, so I think I was lucky to find it. The drive to the airport takes about 15 minutes and cost €23. The horse is brilliant. I was told there wasn't any breakfast, not even a cup of coffee or tea. But the town is near Santiago de Compostela, and there are a few little shops about a six-minute walk away where you can get breakfast. A good option if you need to stay over near the airport.

The room was basic but decent value, quiet, with solid WiFi and a bed comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. It's a bit far from the town center, though that didn't bother me. The rooms are a block from reception and the restaurant. If you're driving, expect to walk a few blocks from guest parking. I was on a bicycle, so that wasn't an issue.

It was just as we expected, small but very clean, with really lovely service. Thanks for letting us check in so late, and for calling us a taxi the next morning :)
