A few minutes' walk from the old centre, this small hotel is in a beautiful old building. We ended our Camino here after Santiago ways booked it, and couldn't have asked for a better final stay. Our garden room was roomy and peaceful, with views of the cathedral. The location was amazing, and Tania was so welcoming and helpful. She's a treasure, just like the hotel.

Tania made the stay especially memorable. She was warm and genuinely caring, whether she was chatting with us, offering suggestions, or simply greeting people with a smile. She made us feel valued, not just like visitors. Hotel Pazos Alba is charming and well cared for, in a handy spot for the historic heart of Santiago. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and gave us a peaceful place to rest after long days walking the Camino. I felt welcome from the moment I arrived, and the whole stay was a pleasure. I'd highly recommend it.

We'd happily stay again. All three reception staff we met on different shifts were welcoming, helpful, and good to talk to. Our rear facing room had a fantastic cathedral view and stayed cool even in 32°C heat, with a great fan. Breakfast cost extra, but the homemade bread was really good, alongside cold meats, cheese, fruit, and cereal. The hotel is close to both the park and the centre.

The breakfast is very basic, but the location is superb for getting to the attractions and there's a superb restaurant next door. The furnishings are comfortable and high end, and the place has a lot of character and a great vibe.

After walking the Camino, I just wanted a hot shower and a soft bed. This small, cozy hotel gave me more than that. It's near all the main spots, and my room was clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom. The tropical shower was amazing, which is a rare treat in a small hotel. I fell asleep to an incredible view. A perfect last stop after the Camino.
