It felt more like staying in a lovely country home than a small pension. The place was peaceful and super clean, though every so often a vehicle would zip by. The host was lovely too. It's a short walk to the sites and about 13 minutes on foot from the train station. I only found this hotel on my last night in Santiago de Compostela, and wish I'd known about it at the start of my vacation. I'll plan to stay here next time. It's a historic building, so they can't have air conditioning, but they can provide a fan. The weather was perfect while I was there, so I didn't need either.

The beds were excellent, and the renovated bathrooms were beautiful. The interior feels a little dated, but everything looked neat and clean. They showed me to my room, and reception was very hospitable. A real plus on my Camino was that the heating still worked in May, with it about 10 degrees outside. It's within walking distance of the cathedral, and also well placed for the bus station the next day.

This charming pensión is in a 300-year-old building, about a 20-minute walk from the cathedral. It's clean and comfortable, and reception is friendly. We've stayed twice and would recommend it to peregrinos looking for a private, comfortable room away from the noise of the historic centro.

We only had one night here and wished we could've stayed longer. The beds were so comfortable that we slept soundly, and the bedrooms were lovely and clean. It's a quaint place with a homely feel, and Alejandro was welcoming and friendly. We hope to return.

The host was incredibly helpful and hospitable. The historic building is in a quiet area, has everything you need for a good stay, and is less than ten minutes from the old city center. I loved the place.
