Apartamentos La Regata

We stayed from May 13th to 17th as a whole family, two adults and two children, and would happily return as soon as we can. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Its location was great, and the fenced green area with a barbecue at the back gave the children a safe place to play. The owners were so kind. We didn't get enough time to know them better, especially Javier, who can fix just about anything. A big hug to them both!

The hosts treated us wonderfully, and the personal service felt like being at home with family. We spent a week this summer in the larger apartment, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and enjoyed the stay and our family holiday very much. It was peaceful, with magnificent views, and the apartment was spacious enough for us, new, clean, and had all the amenities. By car, it's about 10 minutes from Santander and under five from Torrelavega, with easy highway access. That kind of personal touch is something you miss in other places.

Javier, the owner, made this one of the best places I've ever stayed. Rural accommodation often comes with more personal service, but he really stood out. The apartment was beautiful, and he cooked our New Year's Eve dinner himself and suggested places to visit. On the day we left, we had another place to visit before heading home and would be passing through Viveda again, so he let us leave our luggage at the apartment and collect it later. A definite 10.

The apartment was clean, and the heating worked fine even though it was cold. But the bed wasn't comfortable for me, and our four-year-old slept on the sofa bed, which felt like a tile floor. There was building work behind the apartments for new units, and despite the website listing a hairdryer, there wasn't one.
