There’s a lovely garden out back with more tables and chairs, and a big dining area inside. The kitchen is excellent, with a fridge and freezer, stovetop and microwave. Each bed has its own power socket, and there’s plenty of bathroom space, including disabled access. It wasn’t busy when I was there. A fabulous little place right on the Camino in the old part of town. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The kitchen was decent, but it closed at 8pm, which seemed early if people still needed to cook dinner. There was no hot water for washing up either. The place is well located, and the bedroom was spacious, with curtains between the beds for a bit more privacy.

This was our first albergue on the Camino from Sarria to Santiago. The owner was really helpful and patient. She knew we spoke very little Spanish, but still took the time to explain the rules and facilities, and what to do next when we set out the following day.

The hosts clearly care, and I’ve never seen a place cleaned so thoroughly. The room was huge, with lots of bunk beds, but every bed in the dorm had a power socket and curtains for privacy. The stamp for the credentials was really pretty too ☺️ A fantastic albergue.

The garden and patio were so relaxing, with a view of the city below. Bathrooms were clean, and the bunks were comfortable. José Luis and his wife Beatrice are such kind and helpful hosts. Best albergue in Sarria, and I’d definitely stay there again.
