On the way to the Camino Francés, we found this a handy, cheap hostel for starting out in Sarria. The host gave useful advice, the beds were decent, everything was clean, and the internet worked. There’s a big terrace for drying, well, things. It was a bit cold, though we forgot to ask for extra blankets. The view was nice too.

You can get dinner and breakfast right there, and the accommodation seemed fair for what it cost. The staff were friendly, the place was nice, and it’s in a good area. Just be aware that it closes at 10 pm, so you can’t stay out overnight.

They’re open in the off-season, which was useful, and the hostel is close to the town center. There’s a dorm downstairs, private rooms upstairs, and laundry service available.

The terrace was a nice touch, and the location is very good. The sheets could have been cleaner, though, and the fridge is tiny.

There were just four power sockets for a full room of ten people. The lady was nice, though.
