The owners were very helpful and offered us a partial refund, but the flat had several problems. We were on the ground floor, with opaque windows, and no one mentioned that before we booked. The front door kept banging and waking us, and the soundproofing was poor enough that we could hear people in the flat above. Builders next door also started drilling and hammering at 8 each morning. I'd recommend checking which flat you're getting before booking. An upper floor would probably be better, since the ground-floor one is so close to the front door.

We had a small problem with the check-in machine, but the staff sorted it out quickly and professionally, without any stress. It's a really good place for a family with kids, close enough to walk to the city centre but far enough from the nightlife noise. We'd stay again in the near future.

This is my first negative Google review. There was extensive mildew and fungus all over the bathroom wall, and the host's response wasn't what I expected. I find it hard to believe they didn't know about the problem.
