The rooms were quiet and clean, and the air conditioning worked properly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. Being a little way from the city center also meant fewer tiring crowds. Breakfast could use some work. There weren't many fresh vegetables, the food stations felt poorly arranged and caused some bottlenecks, and I'd have liked more hot dishes. Still, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

The corridors on the second floor smelled foul this morning, and breakfast was another letdown. There were very few vegetarian choices, the staff refused our request for a simple omelette for the children, and several spoons and bowls looked stained and poorly cleaned. We were relieved to be checking out today. We've spent the last two weeks traveling around Spain with our children, ages 8 and 10, and had booked family rooms throughout. This was the worst stay of the trip. At Ibis Hotel, Seville, the so-called family room was so cramped that it was hard to walk around, with almost nowhere to put luggage. We paid a higher rate for it, but it didn't meet even basic expectations for a family stay. When we raised the room issue, the response was dismissive: “this is the room, we can’t do anything.” No one tried to help or offer another option. The hotel needs to rethink what it calls a family room and improve its hospitality and hygiene.

The location worked really well for seeing the attractions, all within about a 30-minute walk, and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast had loads of choice and was well managed. The pool area was brilliant, and the rooftop Bar stayed open until 11.30pm with great views. The facilities were excellent, and every staff member we met was so friendly. Couldn't fault anything. Compliments to the staff and management. 👏👏

The staff were prompt, friendly, and helpful, and the filtered cold water dispensers on every floor were appreciated. The location is decent too, but it just isn't worth the money. The buffet labels were wrong, with cheese marked as Ham and vice versa. Some plates were chipped or broken, and the trays were dirty. It felt as if stray animals were being fed. The room itself was uncomfortable in several ways. There were visible holes in the ceiling where a light fixture had probably been moved, and you could hear everything in the corridor. The air conditioning was the worst part: it stayed at 22 C and shut off automatically. After a day at 36 C, we came back to a boiling-hot room. The hair dryers overheated and stopped working on their own, so bring your own. They seemed very cheap quality. For a so-called 3 star hotel, the amenities were a joke. This was the shittiest hotel experience I've had in all my travels in Spain and around the world. I've never been so uncomfortable with the room temperature and everything else that happened. I regret spending the money, and this will be my last stay at this IBIS location. Waste of points and money.
