The location is perfect, and the room itself isn’t bad, but way too many things were wrong. Street conversations came straight through the windows, and it was noisy almost all night. I couldn’t sleep without earplugs, which is a real problem for us since quiet rooms matter a lot. The windows need replacing, and the blinds let in the streetlights, so curtains would help. There’s no bathroom exhaust fan, meaning all the smells and fumes get into the room. Mold was on the kitchen and bathroom walls and ceiling, and on the tiles. The bathroom sink is tiny, and there’s barely any space in there. An extra pillow would’ve been nice, as would coffee capsules. It’s standard to leave at least a bottle of water for guests. We asked when we arrived about storing luggage on departure day, but didn’t get a reply until the day before. On all our earlier trips, keeping our bags for a few hours was never a problem, and they didn’t suggest anywhere else we could leave them.

The agency managing this loft was terrible. There was a leak into the bathroom and kitchen, and I notified them at 9:00 a.m. They offered us somewhere else at 5:30 p.m., twenty minutes away, but even after we arrived there, they kept us waiting for one reason or another. They didn’t look after us or offer any help, and wasted our time.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, ready to assist at every step. This lovely loft is well situated, close to all the tourist attractions. If you’re going to Seville, you absolutely must stay here.
