Maestranza Boutique

Emilio made things easy from the start, with helpful, warm messages and an early check-in. I liked the keyless entry, though we kept a spare key just in case. The flat was cleverly laid out, very quiet, and spotless. There was plenty of lovely shower gel and shampoo, which was a nice surprise. Maestranza Boutique is in a lively local neighborhood with lots of great restaurants, and it's handy for walks by the river on the more local side. We loved having it as our place in Seville.

The place was clean and in a great spot, but quite a few things were broken or out of order, including the air conditioning in the rooms. I contacted the property and they didn't do anything about it.

The terrace and location were nice, and the person I spoke with was friendly, but nothing was actually sorted out. We were in the penthouse and found two cockroaches inside. The sink was blocked, and the only wardrobe was so poorly maintained that its door wouldn't shut. There was also a horrible sewage smell in one bedroom and at the building entrance. They said they'd fumigated and that the cockroaches were resistant, but nobody came to deal with the other problems we reported, even after important dates had passed. For the quality, the price just doesn't make sense. I was very disappointed.

We couldn't wait to get out of there. I've been visiting Seville for nine years and have never had such an embarrassing stay. The photos make it look like a new B&B, so be careful. There was a sewer smell in both the bedrooms and entrance hall, and the cleaning was clearly only superficial. The bedroom walls and living room were dusty, the shower was old and filthy, there was someone else's hair on the sheets, and the blankets were stained. I appreciate Emilio being available, but we really didn't like the apartment. Seeing the ratings in other reviews honestly amazes me. I strongly advise against staying here.
