The location is fine, but don’t stay here. Our private double room was cold, and there weren’t enough blankets. The shower head was broken, soaking the bathroom floor and the toilet paper, and the place smelled like a toilet as soon as we entered. I asked for a refund in the morning. They ignored me and walked out.

I lost that night because of a terrible check-in. I waited outside for two hours before I could get into my room, and then I couldn’t go sightseeing because I had no outer door key and had to stay in. At check-in, they couldn’t give me the key and told me to wait outside until another customer came back. After that, they disappeared from WhatsApp until the next morning.

We paid 130 euros per night for very poor service. The room was only 2.50 by 3 meters, the walls were so thin we could hear whispers from next door, and an outside door or window kept banging and making a horrible racket. Our room and bathroom locks were old and shaky. The bathroom mirror had rust and old paint on it, and the room was full of stains and rust. The window wouldn’t close all the way. We pointed this out to the cleaning lady, who said a technician would fix it, but nobody ever did. We never met the staff except for the cleaning lady, who showed up on two of our three days, and only for a couple of hours. We had to call the directors to get instructions for finding the keys. They spoke only Spanish, not a bit of English. Before arrival, we were required to register online, give too much personal data, including our home address, and send photos of our passports. Stay away.

The staff were nice, and the location was good, about 10-15 minutes from the center, but the conditions were awful. Our room was tiny, the walls were paper thin, and there was no way to lock the door, so anyone could basically walk in. We had cockroaches in the room, with lots more in the shared stairway. The room was never cleaned during our eight-day stay, and I had to buy my own towel because the towels looked disgusting and you had to take a replacement yourself. The bathroom was gross too. The shower had no barrier, so water covered the floor, and the shower curtain and the inside of the toilet looked like they’d never been cleaned. The beds weren’t very comfortable, though they were all right. Opening the window brought a trash smell, and the view looked like a garbage can. The bad reviews are accurate.
