Pension Santa Maria La Blanca

The central location is a real plus, and the room could be nice, but the service and cleanliness let us down. When we used the check-in code, we entered a room that was already occupied. The owner then let us use a different room for two days before moving to the one we had originally booked. We’d asked them to tell us the plan a day in advance, but they didn’t. We were on the other side of the city and couldn’t come right away. They were very responsive in demanding that we come as soon as possible, which felt unpleasant since the initial mistake was theirs and we had agreed on advance notice. The new room’s bathroom was covered in mold. When we needed invoices, information, or room supplies, we got no answer. I’d recommend the location, but for a little more money you may get better service and a cleaner room.

We stayed in May 2022, and the apartment was clean, nicely sized for two, and close to cafes, bars, and attractions. The only small problem was a bathroom smell from the shower drain, which didn’t clear the water well. Still, it was a good stay.

Check-in and checkout were easy, and the accommodation was great. There are also some great tapas restaurants nearby.

The layout, furnishings, linens, and towels made the apartment a really comfortable place to stay, and it was well equipped. We could walk everywhere from here, so we didn’t need any transport. The location is fantastic, with great cafes and restaurants right outside the door. Loved everything about it.
