Petit Palace La Campana Hotel

Breakfast was a great surprise, with a terrific selection and no wait. The roof bar and small pool were excellent in the Seville heat. The hotel is well run, with friendly, professional staff, and sits right on the Main Street, close to everything.

A nearby building renovation caused a lot of early morning noise. We were moved to a quieter room on day 3, which was much better. The hotel is very convenient, just minutes on foot from shops and cafes. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.

The location partly made up for a disappointing stay. The third-floor corridors had lingering odours, and the rooms felt merely adequate, with a slapdash finish: exposed wiring, neglected paintwork, and damaged wallpaper. The welcome depended on who we spoke to, friendly sometimes and brusque at others. The car park incident was especially frustrating: the QR code didn’t work, payment was mandatory, and reception wouldn’t question the system. Even a demonstration from security staff failed to get it working. The hotel left us with a sense that it was unfinished.

The parking was a few minutes’ walk away, which made handling suitcases a bit challenging, but it was manageable. We’d definitely return. The hotel is stylish, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with modern furnishings. Reception were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good given the limited space. It’s conveniently located just a short distance from the pedestrianised centre.
