Hotel Posada del Lucero

We stayed six nights, and the breakfast was easily the best we’ve had across many trips to Spain. The breakfast and room service teams deserve special praise. Reception and management were helpful too, and a pleasure to deal with. The hotel itself is high quality throughout, with a great staff team and a wonderful central Seville location. We’d recommend it without hesitation.

The small pools were peaceful and just right for cooling off, and you could order food or drinks from anywhere in the hotel using the service buttons. Our room was lovely and very clean, and the staff spoke excellent English. We got a chilled bottle of cava as a surprise on our second night, a nice touch. The hotel is beautiful and right in the historic centre. Service was excellent, and I’d definitely return to Hotel Rey Alfonso X when visiting Sevilla.

We came to Seville to celebrate my birthday, and finding sparkling wine in our room was such a lovely gesture. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. It’s also well placed for the attractions and close to the airport. A friend who’d stayed recently recommended it, and it lived up to that recommendation. Seville is beautiful, and we’d gladly recommend this hotel too. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so memorable 💕.

We could walk everywhere from this hotel, and everything we needed was close by. It was very clean and quiet, and a great base in the heart of Seville. The staff were incredibly helpful, the whole place smelled amazing, and they surprised us with a lovely fruit plate in our room for our anniversary. Such a thoughtful gesture. I’d stay again for sure. It’s one of the best 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at. A bigger pool and gym would make it feel like a 5-star property.
