The location is good for walking around Seville and the surrounding area, in a nice neighborhood. But there’s noise all night, and the smell of pizza is everywhere in the building and apartment from the takeaway on the corner. We paid a very high price because it was Easter weekend, at the end of Holy Week, and expected better service. Things were very basic: bedding and towels for the third person were missing, though the landlord responded quickly and efficiently when we contacted him. The sofa bed cover was dirty and torn, there was no wardrobe or storage, the hooks were faulty, the bathroom sink leaked, and the bedroom blind was flimsy, fraying, and kept getting stuck. And where was the great terrace? In the middle of the night, the tenant in the other apartment came home completely drunk, banged on all the doors, then sang loudly for about an hour. Street noise also came through clearly.

The receptionists were wonderful and brought us towels, clean sheets, toilet paper, and anything else we needed. The location is good, but cleanliness clearly isn’t a priority. We were infested with fleas. They really need to improve the cleaning.

The terrace shown in the photos wasn’t there, either. We were completely misled. They showed photos of a similar apartment with all the amenities, then gave us one that was much worse and looked nothing like them. The small bedroom also had no TV, and the whole place needed repainting and a proper clean. The entrance was awful and smelled strange. It was quite expensive for what it was. For that price, it should be at least three or four stars, but it doesn’t even qualify for one. We won’t repeat this experience at Sevilladream House.
