Suite Alcazar

We picked up the keys at Hotel Murillo, and a staff member walked us to the apartment. It had a great bathroom, lounge and bedroom, plus a well equipped kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, hob and dishwasher. The spacious place is right by the Alcazar and Cathedral, with great tapas bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The photo shows the view from our window. Seville is a spectacular city, and we'd stay here again.

We stayed four nights and will make it longer than a week next time, since all the hotspots are within walking distance. The apartment is very roomy, the location is outstandingly central, and the service was great. One small gripe: the kitchen needs more utensils for anyone wanting to make basic things like salads.

The shared terrace was lovely, usually quiet, and offered great views. Our room was huge, with its own entrance right off the lift, no hallway or other rooms on our floor. There was loads of space for 2-4 people and a massive bathroom. We were also surprised to find complimentary beers and soft drinks in the fridge when we arrived. The place overlooks the Alcazar in the middle of Seville, so getting around was easy. It far exceeded our expectations for the price. I'm a bit gutted we only stayed one night, and will definitely look at Suites Murillo next time we're in Seville.

We stayed in March and had beautiful weather, so we got to enjoy the rooftop and its incredible city views. The suite was spacious, comfortable and clean. The catedral bells can wake you in the morning, but I thought they added to the charm. Highly recommend, and I hope we can make it back!
