I came for a meal, not an overnight stay. The hotel has a restaurant, and the menu was really good. I went with my whole family, and we left smiling and happy.

The room had torn curtains, stained sheets, broken air conditioning, and a window looking straight at a wall. The food wasn’t good either, the service was poor, and one employee was playing video games. We were surprised to find nobody else staying at the hotel when we arrived, but soon understood why.

The terrace views were spectacular, and the weekend menu was excellent value: two set menus, coffee, dessert, and six beers came to €63. We had three generous, very good starters, then chose the lamb, which was tender and not at all dry. I chose the homemade pears poached in wine for dessert. They only served one, sadly, and I could have eaten a few more. There were two fish dishes and, if I remember right, four meat options.

This is about the €22.90 weekend set menu. The service was good, and they brought croquettes and empanada as appetizers, which earned it two stars from me. But my grilled second course was a fried egg, a sausage, a chorizo sausage, chicken breast, and a side dish. That was nothing like the lunches around here that cost under €10.
