Torre Caïm

We had a great time in this charming, nicely decorated house, and the owners were very friendly. It has three bedrooms: two with double beds, one of them with its own bathroom, plus a queen-size bedroom. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. There’s also a glass-enclosed room with lovely views and lots of space to dance or celebrate. Outside, there’s a wonderful garden with loungers, a barbecue, an outdoor dining table for good weather, and a pool/jacuzzi. The water is cold, but it’s lovely in hot weather. It’s a great spot to unwind or spend a holiday. Just keep the noise down a little, since the Civil Guard station is next door, haha.

Jordi and Rosa were lovely, and they gave us some delicious lettuce from their vegetable garden. The tower itself is a marvel, spacious, comfortable, full of details and very clean. The pool was a little dirty. Maybe it would stay in better shape if covered when nobody was there or overnight, though that’s a minor point. I’d recommend the house 100 percent. There’s enough to do that you won’t get bored if you don’t want to leave.

We were very well looked after, and we’ll definitely be back. The house is beautiful and welcoming, with thoughtful details throughout. There’s a large garden and a roomy playroom with lovely views.

Jordi and his wife were so kind and attentive. They welcomed us with fruit and vegetables from their garden and a box of Nespresso coffee. We loved the plants and all the little details around the house. The habitable part is a quite large apartment with a garden, pergola and private pool; the other part of the farmhouse is being renovated, so it looks like the house may grow over time. It has everything, the beds are very comfortable, and it’s all clean and decorated with great taste. We loved Solsona and its peaceful feel, and we’ll escape back as soon as we can.
