Kyrat Amarac Suites

We were in town while our children attended tennis camp in Manacor, and this was a great hotel for us. My husband and I liked the short walk to the beach. The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room on the second floor looked straight across at pool level. Guests can also use the rooftop pool and jacuzzi at the nearby Kyrat Amarac. We found free street parking. Breakfast was only served from 8am, but we left every morning at 7am for workouts. The woman preparing it wouldn’t let us take even a croissant though the food was already out, so during our seven nights we only got to enjoy breakfast once. Apart from that, it was a great stay.

We found Kyrat Amarac Suites while looking for somewhere on Majorca that could fit our family of four, with two adults and kids aged 16 and 18. We’re coming back, and Cala Millor is a nice place too. The two-bedroom apartment was great, as were the room, the staff and the amazing breakfast. The sun terrace with its pool was very calm, and there were always sunbeds available.

The good parts were breakfast, the warm staff and the location. But the soundproofing was poor, we could hear the cleaner and our neighbors. The balcony was useless, facing the next building less than 50cm away, so all we saw was a wall.

My three-star rating is down to poor service, from reception through to breakfast. On our second day, they’d run out of eggs and cooked vegetables by 9:30. After 10:30 at night the entrance door closes automatically, but our room keys wouldn’t let us into the building. We were left outside on the street with the kids, with nobody at reception to help us get in. Luckily, a guest passing inside opened the gate. So annoying! The rooms are modern but lack basics like an iron. Parking was difficult even though there was a big lot next to the hotel, as it filled up quickly.
