Los Guanches Bungalows

We stayed in detached No5, which was really spacious and more private. The two other detached bungalows have wider mountain and sea views, though. The huge patio has good-quality sun loungers and chairs, plus a brick BBQ. There's a free safe, and the WiFi worked perfectly. Alan made us feel welcome and shared lots of helpful information about the island. He's also renovating the pool area and has put in a new pool. Los Guanches is perfectly placed on the west side of the island, with good weather and lovely walking terrain. Shops and restaurants are within easy reach. We booked directly with Alan, and he arranged a car hire deal at a good price. We'd definitely stay again.

After a day hiking or at the beach, it was lovely coming back to the bungalow and relaxing by the pool or taking in the view from the porch. We grilled on the back porch too. We stayed for two weeks in July 2021, and the simple, clean furnishings were just right for a holiday home. This was our fourth visit, and I'm sure we'll be back again. Booking directly is especially convenient, and the owner replies quickly and speaks English.

I came to the island to film the volcano eruption and booked at the last minute. After I made the reservation, Alan called quickly to make sure I knew what was happening. He met me late, showed me around, and was incredibly kind and accommodating. The bungalows were clean, spacious, and suited my needs perfectly. Alan shared local knowledge that helped me find the best spots for great volcano shots. His daughter even left a colored picture for me by the door. It was an amazing experience, the trip went really well, and I made a lifelong friend along the way. The accommodation was lovely and clean, with fantastic views of the coast and mountains. We had a great week in Alan's bungalows. They're well equipped and in a handy spot for getting around the island, with the national park only a five-minute drive away. Highly recommended.
